Concierge Care Explained
Concierge Care, which is steadily rising in popularity, is an alternative to the inefficient, expensive and less-than-satisfactory modern healthcare system. With a flat rate paid annually or semi-annually, you will receive an annual physical exam, unlimited follow up appointments (in person or via televisits), and direct access to Dr. Gutierrez via email and cell phone.
MOREOVER, you will receive a preventive screening plan that incorporates evidence-based medicine (think colonoscopies and mammograms) and addresses your individual concerns. Dr. Gutierrez will assist with careful selection of specialists, and make sure you are prepared prior to your appointment with necessary blood work and imaging. She will serve as your “quarterback”, coordinating your care and helping you navigate the health care maze. Furthermore, Dr. Gutierrez values collaboration with family members, and meetings or conference calls are readily available when desired by the patient.
Because you will be receiving care from a physician who really knows you, your medical history, your mental health and your lifestyle, you will receive exceptional quality medical care without the headache of the current healthcare system.

On average, new patients wait 26 days for an appointment to see a provider. Once they’re able to secure an appointment, approximately 56 percent of U.S. physicians spend less than 17 minutes with their patients, according to a survey conducted in 2018. This leads to both patient and provider dissatisfaction. At Dallas Care, same day or next day appointments are available, and the average appointment lasts 60 minutes.
Perhaps most concerning, according to a study conducted in 2015, only 8% or Americans 35 years and older receive all of the clinical services recommended for them. This includes cancer screenings, counseling, heart disease risk stratification, preventive medications and vaccinations. While a typical medical practice serves more than 2000 patients, and often up to 4000, Dallas Care limits our patient to 300. This allows ample time to discuss acute issues, as well as address prevention and wellness.
At Dallas Care you will only see Dr. Gutierrez, and attention to follow up will be given at every appointment.
